Dissertation title: Effect of the interaction between elevated CO2, temperature and drought during the regrowth of nodulated alfalfa plants
Research:
My research career has been focused on plant physiology response to predicted future climatic conditions. Increasing atmospheric CO2 concentration alone or in combination with other factors like elevated temperature and water limited supply has been one of my main interest. Currently my research is focused on the effect of ozone on maize physiology, growth and yield from crop to biochemical and molecular level. I also have a particular interest on the use of new high throughput phenotyping tools to characterize plant features relevant to plant physiology.
