Scott Rohde is a scientific web programmer for the RIPE project at the University of Illinois. For RIPE, Scott will be writing, evaluating, and documenting code for the BioCro simulation software. Scott earned his bachelor's degree in mathematics, music, and literature from the Evergreen State College, Olympia, Washington. He later went on to receive his master's and doctorate degrees in mathematics from Illinois. Scott's work has been published in GCB Bioenergy, Dryad (data repository), and MathSciNet (abstract index). 

The LongLab is supported by many public and private partnerships, including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Foundation for Food and Agriculture Research, the UK Government's Department for International Development, the U.S. Department of Energy, and the Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy.
