BSc Honours: Agriculture (2022) University of Reading. Dissertation title: Effects of Exogenous Acetic Acid on Glycine max Under Chronic Ozone Stress

Research:          

During my undergraduate degree, I took an interest in novel and innovative climate change solutions within agronomic environments, with previous research investigating the use of anti-transpirants as a low-cost and practical method to protect crops from increasing concentrations of tropospheric ozone. I began my Master's in the Ainsworth lab in the summer of 2022 and subsequently joined LC3M (The Leverhulme Center for Climate Change Mitigation). I am part of a team working on the RockFACE (Free Air Carbon-dioxide Enrichment) project, which is exploring the potential interaction of elevated atmospheric CO2 and enhanced rock weathering in a maize-soybean cropping rotation. My aim is to help develop these new agronomic solutions that benefit both the farmer and the environment.
