PhD. Plant Genetics, Purdue University, 2009
Ana's research focuses on understanding and improving plant stress resilience, particularly how genetic and physiological traits interact to determine tolerance, productivity, and quality in field crops. She combines molecular genetics, physiology, and agronomy to study how plants respond to both environmental and chemical stresses, and how those responses can be leveraged for breeding.
Research Interests: Plant genetics, plant physiology, plant responses to stress
Personal Interests: Gardener, beekeeper, curious
