AI Farms brings together researchers in artificial intelligence and agriculture, combining their expertise to promote advances in agriculture through AI. Our mission is to use core AI research areas such as computer vision, machine learning, data science, soft object manipulation, and intuitive human-robot interaction, to address major challenges in agriculture.
The Leakey lab is part of a team that develops new AI techniques for predicting data across many scales to enable crop genetic improvement for increased resilience to environmental variability, provide improved utilization and management of water and nitrogen, and mitigate nitrogen runoff.
